$1,000 USD each — up to 20 awards annually; includes free conference registration

Eligibility

ASMS student member in the 2nd year or more of a PhD programme at the time of the conference, with an excellent academic record and mass-spectrometry research, and presenting author on a submitted abstract.

January 15, 2026 (annual deadline ~Jan of conference year — watch for Jan 2027)

Application Requirements

Email application materials to office@asms.org. Supervisor must approve the applicant to attend as presenting author on the named abstract. Complete the non-ASMS-conference page if funds will be used for a different meeting.

Notes

Only one person per research group may apply. An individual may receive no more than one ASMS travel award per calendar year. In selected cases the award may be used to attend a NON-ASMS conference to present MS research in a topic area not covered at the ASMS conference.
