Eligibility

Faculty at primarily undergraduate institutions, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows presenting a poster or oral presentation at an ACS regional or non-ACS meeting in biological chemistry or chemical biology.

Deadline

May 15 for every Fall Meeting; December 15 for every Spring Meeting

Alternative reports:

  • March 1 and August 1 (reviewed at the subsequent ACS meeting)
Application Requirements

Competitive application; receipts must be submitted with a reimbursement request after the meeting.

Notes

ACS membership costs are not reimbursable. No more than two awards to one laboratory in a calendar year via this mechanism.

Conference Information

Dates: Twice yearly, Spring and Fall; 2027 dates TBD

Location: Rotates across US cities (Fall 2026: Chicago, Illinois, August 23-27, 2026)

Research match: Analytical chemistry (ANYL), biological chemistry (BIOL) and chemical information divisions cover analytical method development, biosensors and cheminformatics. Wishart has been an ACS member since 2018.
